Does a periodontal disease influence the overall health of an individual?

According to many scientific studies, periodontal diseases are risk factors for some diseases. The presence of periodontal diseases could increase the risk of:
– myocardial infarction
– arterial hypertension
– diabetes
– premature labor
Specific case:
Pregnancy gingivitis:
Pregnancy leads to hormonal changes such as a higher production of estrogens.
This hormonal change can be found in the saliva sulcus
Periodontal bacteria eat these hormones and will multiply quickly.
This bacteria multiplication will cause swollen gums, loose teeth and gum bleedings: Pregnancy gingivitis.

What are the treatment’s results?

The goal of the treatment is to cure the gum diseases and stabilize it on a long term basis.
This means no more gum bleeding and a better feeling in your mouth.
Very often the gum sticks back to the teeth roots, and even though it is said that the bone doesn’t grow back, it occurs in some instances that the bone reconstitutes around the roots as you can see in these x-ray shots:

Conclusion: the tooth does not move anymore.
The patient keeps his original teeth even though they were loose before the treatment.

Who is this treatment for?

1- This treatment is tailored for you if:
– You think that preventive care is more important: care before harm occurs.
– You are prone to gum diseases due to genetic predispositions, for example you have family members who have lost teeth in the past.
– You are already suffering from gum diseases, even severely, and would like to be treated using non invasive methods and/or alternative medicine.
– You already have tried all other methods based on oral hygiene, scaling, implants and even surgery and none of these methods were successful.
– You are suffering from halitosis (bad breath) and no method has relieved you in the past.
